Our Story

Welcome to Cafe To Life Candle Co.! I'm so happy you decided to visit! My name is Leah and I’m the founder & owner. I brought this business to life to bring you little treasures for life’s biggest moments and to help you celebrate fun milestones. We provide candles for all big (& small because all occasions should be celebrated) moments in life AND you’ll look good when you have a fun gift for your friends for every exciting occasion in life. 

I spent a couple of years towards the beginning of my career working as a wedding and event planner. I quickly realized how much I loved helping others celebrate such happy times in life, so I started thinking about what I could do to contribute to these moments. With such a love for events, candles, crafts, and all things that make my home feel cozy, I wanted to find a way to merge all of my passions into one. From all of this, 'Light When' candles were born. We provide candles for special celebrations and for those moments you need a little extra love. All milestones deserve to be celebrated and with our candles, you’ll add a unique element to each event. 

While doing some research during the candle making process, I quickly realized there was a flaw in the market. Most candles sold in stores or online are made with tons of toxic ingredients. I wanted to find a way to create a “healthier” version for a product we all use and love (because who doesn’t like candles?). Our candles are soy wax and made with non-toxic fragrances. Creating candles without potentially harmful ingredients became a priority. After all, why would I sell candles that I wouldn’t even use in my own home? I hope you enjoy them!
